Set up your business
Fill in who gets paid, turn on two-factor sign-in, prove your receiving wallet and submit your account for review.
After you create your account, the dashboard opens the setup page, titled "Get your account ready". It has four steps: Who gets paid, Two-factor sign-in, Receiving wallet and Submit for review. You can submit only when the first three are done, and nothing can be collected until fianto approves your account.
Before you start
- You are signed in to merchant.fianto.xyz. See Create your account.
- An authenticator app on your phone.
- A Solana wallet in this browser that can sign messages, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. Use a wallet you will keep for the long term.
- For a registered company: its legal name, registration number and everyone who owns 25 % or more.
Steps
Choose who gets paid
Under Who gets paid, pick one card:

Fill in the profile and save
Every type asks for:
- the name on your checkout and invoices, up to 100 characters. When fianto approves your account, the name you submitted becomes the name payers see on checkout;
- your full name, up to 200 characters;
- your country;
- What you sell, one of 17 fixed categories;
- Website, if you have one (optional);
- the declaration "This is true and complete. I will tell fianto within 10 business days if it changes."
A registered company also asks for Legal name of the company, Registration number and everyone who owns 25 % or more, directly or through other companies. Click Add an owner for each one (name and country of residence, up to 10), or tick Nobody owns 25% or more.
A business, not registered and Just me also ask for your Date of birth (your age must be between 18 and 120) and your Nationality.
Click Save. The fold "What this is for, who sees it, how long we keep it" explains the data: the fianto team reviews it, your business name also shows on your checkout and invoices, and the answers are kept for 6 years after you stop using fianto (or longer where a law requires it). fianto does not ask your customers for ID.
Turn on two-factor sign-in
Under Two-factor sign-in, enter your Current password and click Set up two-factor authentication. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or type the key shown under it), enter the 6-digit code under Code from your app and click Turn on two-factor authentication within 10 minutes.
fianto then shows 10 recovery codes, once. Each works once and lets you sign in if you lose your phone. Copy them somewhere safe, then click I have saved my recovery codes.
Prove your receiving wallet
Under Receiving wallet, choose your wallet from the list. It asks you to sign a message that starts "fianto wants you to confirm this wallet receives payments for your account." This is a message, not a transaction: signing costs nothing, moves nothing and gives no permission. Sign it within 5 minutes; each request to sign works once.
Once it is accepted, the step shows your address as Proven by signature. To use a different wallet before you submit, choose it and sign again: the newest proven wallet is the one submitted.
Submit for review
Open Submit for review. It lists your details and, if anything is missing, starts with "Still needed before you can submit:". When everything is ready, click Submit for review.
Keep this wallet safe
Every subscription is set up on chain to pay this exact wallet, and that can never be changed later. If you lose the wallet, the subscriptions started while it was yours keep paying it until they are cancelled.
Your wallet needs a USDC token account before your first sale
Payments arrive in USDC, so the receiving wallet must already have a USDC token account. Without one,
creating a checkout fails with merchant_token_account_missing. To create it, send the wallet any
amount of USDC once.
Submitting freezes a copy of your profile, your newest proven wallet and your two-factor state, and your details cannot be changed while the account is in review. A submitted application cannot be withdrawn. See Review and approval for what happens next.
Check it worked
The setup page now shows "In review" and your details, read-only. On Account and security, the Account status reads "In review".
Troubleshooting
