# Overview (/merchants/overview)

The **Overview** is the dashboard's home page. It counts the payments that settled on Solana and
shows what they brought you: your prices, never the fees the payer paid on top. It shows before
your account is approved too, with zeros.

## Time zone [#time-zone]

The Overview counts days in the dashboard's time zone. Choose it in **Settings**, under **Times and
dates**: "Local time", the zone of this device, or "UTC". The choice is kept in this browser, not
in your account. **How these numbers are built**, under the page title, names the zone in use.

## What it shows [#what-it-shows]

* **Revenue**: what your customers paid for your prices over the chosen range, with a line chart.
Pick the range with the tabs **7 days**, **30 days** (the default), **180 days** or **1 year**.
The title opens **Payments** for that range.
* Four tiles for the same range, each compared with the period just before it, of the same length:
  * **New customers**: customers whose first payment is in this range.
  * **Subscriptions**: what subscription charges brought you, and how many charges.
  * **One-off**: what one-off orders brought you, and how many were paid.
  * **MRR**: the prices of the subscriptions that are active or past due at the end of the range,
a 30-day price counted in full and a 365-day price as a twelfth.
* **Revenue by day**: the current month, each day shaded by how much it brought. A day opens
  **Payments** for that day.
* **By source** and **Top products**: for the range, how many payments each source or product
brought, and an amount for each.

Each tile opens the records it counts. Amounts on the Overview are shown in US dollars, counted at
1 USDC = 1 USD.

When something needs you, a strip such as "2 things need you" with **Review** opens
[Needs attention](/merchants/needs-attention).

> **Your prices, not what the payer paid:**
>
> Revenue, the tiles and the tables count your prices: what reached your wallet. The payer also paid
> any service fee and, on a subscription charge, the network fee; both go to Fianto. To see every
> part of each payment, use the payments export. See [Fees](/concepts/fees) and
> [Exports](/merchants/exports).

## Before approval [#before-approval]

Until your account is approved, the Overview shows zeros, and the sidebar's first row is **Get
started**, the setup page. See [Review and approval](/merchants/review-and-approval).
